Revoking the requirement to submit the international vaccination certificate against polio before the visa is issued.

The Italian Ministry of Health has revoked the instructions previously announced regarding the need to request the certificate of international vaccination against polio before issuing the visa to citizens who come from countries at risk of this disease, including Papua New Guinea.

The check, and the possible limitation of the international trip for travellers without the vaccination certificate, will therefore be carried out at the point of departure at the border and not during the visa issue.
