It was July 1990, when Riccardo Muti, on the stage set up at the Rocca Brancaleone, raised his wand to inaugurate the first edition of the Ravenna festival, exactly thirty years ago and in the same place that today hosts the "rebirth" of live music in Italy, after the long months of the lockdown. Italy restarts from here, from the fifteenth-century Venetian fortress nestled in the heart of the city, with Maestro Muti and "his" young Cherubini Orchestra, composed of 62 musicians under 30 from all over Italy, in an almost entirely Mozartian program. The concert will open with Alexandr Nikolaevič Skrjabin's Rêverie, followed by the motet Exsultate, jubilate KV 165 and the Et incarnatus est from the Mass in C minor KV 427, both entrusted to the voice of Rosa Feola. The majestic Symphony n. 41 in C major KV 551, composed by Mozart during the difficult summer of 1788 will complete the program. From one of the darkest periods of Mozart's life, was born a symphony whose luminosity once again puts Mozart's genius above everyday adversity.

"Estate all'italiana Festival" offers a program of over 20 shows of high artistic level that will be available for FREE ONLINE - in streaming and on demand for 48 hours, with registrations at www.italiafestival.it thanks to the collaboration with ItaliaFestival, an Association that brings together some of the most important realities among Italian festivals, such as the Ravenna Festival, the Puccini Festival, the Napoli Teatro Festival, the Valle d'Itria Festival, the Santarcargelo Festival, the Emilia Romagna Festival, live villages in Piedmont, art harmonies in Calabria and the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto.
