Connecting @ Changi: a space for holding business meetings between foreign and local businessmen, in total safety, was inaugurated on 18 February 2021.

Built in just three months at the Expo area with the contribution of Temasek, Ascott Limited, Changi Airport Group and Sheares Healthcare etc., the Connecting@Changi space hosts in 150 premium rooms and 40 meeting rooms, businessmen from other countries who intend to meet local companies and businessmen, in full compliance with anti-Covid regulations and in total safety, without undergoing quarantine. By May 2021 the rooms will reach 600 and those for meetings to 170.

The meeting rooms that can be booked online (which host from 4 to 11 persons on one side), have different costs and are equipped with a special separator glass, independent air systems that do not allow contamination and a special system for passing documents and other material without direct contact.

Foreign businessmen can stay there for a minimum of 24 hours up to a maximum of 14 days, as long as they are negative for the pre-departure swab and for the swab performed once they arrive at the airport.

Further checks will be carried out during the stay at Connecting@Changi and the maximum period of 14 days is not comparable to the normal quarantine.
