What is Self-Certification?

It is a statement written and undersigned by the concerned person regarding his/her personal status and data to be presented to public administration and agencies and providers of public services.

Resorting to self-certification statement in relation to a private person is up to his/her own discretion. These statements can replace normal notary certificates and attested affidavits.

In fact, the entry into force of the Presidential Decree n.445 dated  28 dicembre 2000,  activated an important semplification process for the reform of Public Administration to make it more efficient and transparent.
