Symposium on Smart Synergies and signing an agreement between the University of Genoa and James Cook University in Singapore.

On November 1st, 2019 at the premises of James Cook University (JCU) in Singapore a seminar on “Smart Synergies: Business, Technology and Education” was held with a round table, attended by the Embassy of Italy in the person of its Scientific Attaché, Dr. Nicola Bianchi. Other participants in the Round Table moderated by Eddi Chng (JCU) were Prof. Agostino Bruzzone (University of Genoa), Dr. Giulio Gennaro (CEO 1888 G. Consulting) and Prof. Adrian Kuah (JCU). During the Round Table the increasing synergies in the field of technological development in the path that leads from school and university education to business activities were highlighted. The role and contribution of diplomacy, especially the scientific one, has also been highlighted. The round table was followed by the presentation of the new strategic engineering course “Strategos” that will be implemented at the University of Genoa and  the presentation of projects developed by students and young researchers. The meeting was concluded by signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Genoa and James Cook University.
