In Singapore
Local authorities have imposed a ban on entry to Singapore and transit from Changi airport for all travelers who have been to Iran, South Korea or Northern Italy in the 14 days prior to arrival in Singapore. This ban will come into force starting at 11.59 pm on Wednesday 4 March 2020 and will apply to anyone who comes from the mentioned areas and declares under their responsibility that they have stayed or passed through these areas in the previous 14 days. As for Italy, the restriction will not apply to travelers who have not traveled to the North in the period in question.
For residents (Singapore citizens and permanent residents) and for long-term visa holders with a recent travel history in Iran, Northern Italy and the Republic of Korea, a stay-home notice is issued in the last 14 days notice) which requires you to stay at your place of residence in Singapore for a period of 14 days.
Also starting from 11.59 pm on March 4th, all travelers of any origin and nationality who present symptoms compatible with the COVID-19 infection will be able to undergo clinical tests and be held at the airport facilities pending the result (about 6 hours). Those who refuse to take the test will be denied entry to the country.
The ban on entry and transit remains valid for Chinese passport holders and for all travelers who have been to mainland China (the ban does not apply to the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao) in the 14 days prior to arrival in Singapore . The entry ban on returning from China does not apply to Singaporean citizens, permanent residents and long-term visa holders, who are subject to 14 days of mandatory work or quarantine leave if they come from the province of Hubei. The measure has been operational since February 1, 2020 and also applies to travelers in transit.

On March 9, the Prime Minister’s Decree was issued containing urgent measures to combat and contain coronavirus.
With regard to the protection of compatriots abroad and information to users, the following aspects are of greater importance:
- The fellow nationals residing / domiciled in Italy (as well as foreign citizens), who are abroad, can – if the means of transport are operational – enter it to return to their home, house or residence;
- in the same way, fellow nationals residents / domiciled abroad (as well as foreign citizens, including tourists), who are in Italy, can – if the means of transport are operational – leave to return to their homes, dwelling houses or residence;
- entry and exit for proven work needs (this provision also covers cross-border workers);
- on the other hand, entry for tourism reasons is absolutely to be avoided.
- the obligation to communicate to the Prevention Department of the Health Authority in charge remains valid for those who arrive to Italy from epidemiological risk areas, as identified by the WHO.
