The prestigious Italian luxury stationery company Moleskine, with more than 80 flagship stores around the world, has just launched its first shop in Singapore, with limited edition collections.
It’s the very first opening in Southeast Asia for Moleskine. The shop is located at the Paragon Shopping Centre in Orchard Road, and it opened just in time for the holidays. To celebrate the event, Moleskine is showcasing exclusive collections that take advantage of collaborations with the famous German pen company Kaweco, the Italian fashion brand Missoni, the velvet-producer Pontoglio 1833, and the Chinese illustrator Lok Ng.
The shop is decorated with an elegant collection of journals, diaries, bags, writing accessories, and digital notebooks laid out across shelves and tables. A space also lets customers try out the products and use their tools to personalize them.
The Moleskine x Missoni collection features four notebooks with the Italian fashion brand’s iconic zig-zag patterns from its famous knitwear in blue, orange, white, and black.
The Velvet Collection with Pontoglio 1833 showcases another four notebooks in jet black, emerald green, sapphire blue, and ruby red with “2022” debossed on the silk-blend velvet front. If that’s not velvety enough, it also comes in a black velvet box.
To celebrate next year’s Year of the Tiger according to the Chinese zodiac, Moleskine brought in Chinese-born illustrator Lok Ng to design three notebooks splashed with the vivid markings of tiger stripes. Each comes with the auspicious red packets.
Moving on to the accessories, the brand launched three sleek writing sets with German pen manufacturer Kaweco featuring a fountain pen, rollerball pen, a leather pen case, ink cartridges, and bottles of ink. They come in green, black, purple, or red and are enclosed in a vintage-style metal tin.
Moleskine will also be introducing a new and improved Smart Writing Set 3, composed of a digital notebook and a smartpen. This unique duo, supported by the dedicated app allows users to see their output on paper via their favorite mobile devices in real-time.
