The European Union Delegation to Singapore presents the “More than Food” campaign that will take place in four selected FairPrice Finest Stores in the City-State; the main aim of the initiative is promoting the excellence as well as the benefits of EU agri-food products, with particular attention to their authenticity, quality, safety, and sustainable production.
During the next two weeks, respectively from the 25-27th of February to the 4-6th of March, a wide selection of premium European cheese, fruits & vegetables, meat, and olive oil and much more will be available at four selected FairPrice Finest supermarkets in Singapore; centuries of tradition and know-how, handed down from generation to generation, and which provide European food its own authentic flavour, will be exhibited and promoted.
While tastings are currently not allowed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its safety restrictions, the Delegation will be providing some recipes of the renowned chef Justin Foo, making sure that these products are cooked and thus can be savoured in their own European flavour.
Among these EU agri-food food products, Italian excellence will be present as well. In this regard, there will be mainly products such as Fruits & Vegetables (apples, lemons, kiwis, etc), Meat (mainly Ham), Olive Oil, Wine, Spirits & Beer, Cheese (burrata, Parmisan, shredded cheese), Confectionery (organic jam, honey), and many others. Consumers will also be able to scan a QR code giving access to the rest of EU agri-food products available in the store.
