The Embassy of Italy in Singapore, in collaboration with the NUS Conservatory of Music, presents an exceptional violin recital by Italian musician Domenico Nordio.

Domenico Nordio has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle Pleyel in Paris, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Barbican Centre in London and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He has appeared with leading orchestras such as the London Symphony, Orchestre National de France, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and many others.
A former child prodigy and winner of the Eurovision Grand Prix in 1988, Nordio is recognized both as a brilliant soloist and a refined chamber musician, collaborating with artists such as Misha Maisky, Louis Lortie, Boris Belkin, Giovanni Bellucci and Jeffrey Swann. Deeply committed to modern music, several contemporary composers have dedicated works to him.
