The Italian films &#8220;The Meatseller&#8221; and &#8220;In quanto a noi (As for us)&#8221; will be projected, thanks to the collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Join the 20th edition of Animation Nation and embark on a journey where imagination knows no limits!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>In quanto a noi (As for us)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Directed by: Simone Massi\u00a0(2022 \u2013 5\u2032)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>In quanto a noi<\/strong><\/em> (<strong>As for us<\/strong>)\u00a0 is narrated by the voice of the German director Wim Wenders and is inspired by the poem \u201cWe studied for the afterlife\u201d by the Italian poet Eugenio Montale. Simone Massi realizes a \u201cvideo-poem\u201d on the Italian nightmares of the XX century history: poverty, war, political terrorism. To wake up from that nightmare, the only solution is to realize that everybody is \u201calready dead without knowing it\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Meatseller<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Directed by: Margherita Giusti\u00a0(2023 \u2013 17\u2032)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>The Meatseller<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is the true story of Selinna Ajamikoko, a young Nigerian woman who dreams to become a meatseller like her mom. In order to achieve her dream, she begins her voyage towards Italy, an experience full of atrocity and bestiality.
