The Award, conceived and promoted by the MATTADOR Cultural Association, was created with the intention of bringing <strong>out and enhancing new talents<\/strong> who choose to approach a professional and artistic career in the field of film writing. Over the years, the Prize has achieved a consolidated reliability that has made it a <strong>point of reference<\/strong> in the film industry and for production companies in search of young authors. This is confirmed by the <strong>results achieved by the winners of<\/strong> the various editions who have established themselves in the field of screenwriting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sections and related prizes for the <strong>2024\/2025<\/strong> Competition are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MATTADOR Prize<\/strong> for the best feature film <strong>screenplay<\/strong>: <strong>\u20ac5,000<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MATTADOR Prize<\/strong> for the best <strong>subject<\/strong>: <strong>1,500 euros<\/strong>. The finalists for the best subject, awarded with a <strong>training grant<\/strong>, are accompanied by professional scriptwriters on a development path for their subjects. At the end of the training course, the best development work receives a prize of <strong>1,500 euros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MATTADOR<\/strong> <strong>Series<\/strong> <strong>Award<\/strong> to the best <strong>TV series project: \u20ac1,000<\/strong>. The finalists, awarded a <strong>training grant<\/strong>, are accompanied by professional scriptwriters on a development path for their projects. At the end of the training course, the best development work receives a prize of <strong>1,000 euros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DOLLY Prize \u2018Illustrating Cinema<\/strong> \u2019 to the best <strong>story told in pictures<\/strong>. The winner, who is awarded a <strong>training grant<\/strong>, is accompanied by professional tutors on a story development pathway, with the elaboration of a complete dossier presenting a film or animation project.
