The Embassy of Italy in Singapore, in collaboration with the NUS Conservatory of Music<\/strong>, presents an exceptional violin recital by Italian musician Domenico Nordio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Domenico Nordio has performed on some of the world\u2019s most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall<\/strong> in New York, Salle Pleyel<\/strong> in Paris, Teatro alla Scala<\/strong> in Milan, Barbican Centre<\/strong> in London and Suntory Hall<\/strong> in Tokyo. He has appeared with leading orchestras such as the London Symphony<\/strong>, Orchestre National de France<\/strong>, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia<\/strong>, and many others.<\/p>\n

A former child prodigy and winner of the Eurovision Grand Prix<\/strong> in 1988, Nordio is recognized both as a brilliant soloist and a refined chamber musician, collaborating with artists such as Misha Maisky<\/strong>, Louis Lortie<\/strong>, Boris Belkin<\/strong>, Giovanni Bellucci<\/strong> and Jeffrey Swann<\/strong>. Deeply committed to modern music, several contemporary composers have dedicated works to him.<\/p>\n
