{"id":7556,"date":"2025-12-15T12:29:55","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T04:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambsingapore.esteri.it\/?p=7556"},"modified":"2025-12-18T16:22:45","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T08:22:45","slug":"an-inaf-delegation-on-mission-to-singapore-and-kuala-lumpur-to-strengthen-scientific-cooperation-in-the-space-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambsingapore.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2025\/12\/an-inaf-delegation-on-mission-to-singapore-and-kuala-lumpur-to-strengthen-scientific-cooperation-in-the-space-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"An INAF delegation on mission to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to strengthen scientific cooperation in the space sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"336\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"31\">Singapore, 12 December 2025<\/strong> \u2013 From 9 to 12 December 2025, a delegation from the <strong data-start=\"88\" data-end=\"134\" data-is-only-node=\"\">National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF)<\/strong>, on the initiative of the Scientific Attach\u00e9 in Singapore, <strong data-start=\"161\" data-end=\"212\">Nicola Bianchi<\/strong>, carried out a mission to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation in the space sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"338\" data-end=\"741\">The delegation, led by Dr<strong data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"383\"> Isabella Pagano<\/strong>, Scientific Director at INAF and co\u2013Principal Investigator of the<strong data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"495\"> European Space Agency\u2019s PLATO <\/strong>mission, included Dr <strong data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"525\">Marco Feroci<\/strong>, Director of the Institute for Space Astrophysics and Planetology, and Dr<strong data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"621\"> Andrea Bianco<\/strong>, Head of the Technical and Management Unit \u201cEnabling Innovative Technologies\u201d within INAF\u2019s Scientific Directorate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"1282\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">During the mission, Dr Pagano, one of the world\u2019s leading experts in the study of exoplanets, delivered two scientific seminars at Universiti Putra Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur and at the Embassy of Italy in Singapore.
