Inspired by the ideals and contradictions surrounding Singapore&#8217;s 1961 Women&#8217;s Charter, this bold new production asks <strong>whose lives are recognised, whose sacrifices are remembered, and what becomes of the women who fall beyond the boundaries of an acceptable society.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>With the support of the Embassy of Italy in Singapore<\/strong>, this production brings together a stellar cast of Singaporean and regional voices including sopranos <strong>Anna Migallos<\/strong> and <strong>Renata Hann Sungwon<\/strong> sharing the role of <strong>Violetta Valery<\/strong>, tenors <strong>David Charles Tay<\/strong> and <strong>Jonathan Charles Tay<\/strong> sharing the role of <strong>Alfredo Germont<\/strong>, and baritone <strong>Cao Yixiao<\/strong> as <strong>Giorgio Germont<\/strong>. The remaining cast includes some of Singapore&#8217;s most prominent singers including <strong>Cherie Tse, Akiko Atao, Daniela Leska, Jonathan Macpherson, Ted Ngoo, Edward Kim, Shawn Liew and Dennis Lau.
