Covid-19 Updates

We inform the public that, with the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health of 16 April 2021, the following measures are introduced for those returning to Italy from Singapore (list D) and Brunei (list E):

  • From April 19, it is compulsory to undergo a molecular or antigenic swab test within the 48 hours before entering Italy and whose negative results for those who come from or have stayed / transited, in the previous 14 days, in one or more countries or territories included in lists C, D and E.
  • The duration of fiduciary isolation for those returning from one or more countries or territories included in D and E lists, is reduced to 10 days. This provision applies only to entries to Italy subsequent to the entry into force of the Ordinance of April 16, 2021. Those who entered Italy before April 18, 2021, must complete the 14-day period of isolation.
  • The obligation to undergo an additional molecular or antigenic swab test, at the end of 10 days, for those who come from or have stayed / transited, in the previous 14 days, in one or more States or territories included in lists D and E. This provision applies to applies only to entries into Italy after the entry into force of the Ordinance April 16, 2021. Those who entered Italy before April 18, 2021, must complete the 14-day period of isolation and must not carry out further swabs.
  • With a special circular from the Directorate General for Prevention of the Ministry of Health, a digital passenger locator form (Passenger Locator Form - PLF) will be introduced to be shown before boarding, which will replace the paper self-declaration.
