Today, food sustainability has become a priority, which is why the Italian Women Group of Singapore (IWG) has decided to dedicate a themed event that precedes the 6th International Week of Italian Cuisine (22-28 November 2021).
The Italian Women Group of Singapore aims to promote the reduction of food waste through the use and reuse of ingredients in the kitchen, and at the same time spread the ancient cultural and gastronomic traditions of different Italian regions. The event proceeds will be donated to local charities.
An exclusive online cooking class will take place on November 17, 2021 at 11am. Andrea Tranchero, Barilla Executive Chef for Africa, Asia and Australia will conduct it directly from Casa Barilla in Singapore. All participants will be given a basket of high quality Made in Italy products.
