‘MOSAIC SG’ — Championing Italian Contemporary Art at the Highest Level in the Singapore Art Week

LOY Contemporary Art Gallery, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Singapore, presents the art exhibition “Mosaic SG”, as part of Singapore Art Week 2026, opening on 8 Jan.

“𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘤𝘴—𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺,
𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘴—𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘯d 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤
𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴.” — 𝘈𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘢 𝘒𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘯𝘢𝘯

Inspired by the words of Anita Krishnan, Mosaic SG explores how individuality and collectivity coexist, thriving joyfully together in the artistic process. Each work represents a fragment of emotion, history, and imagination — much like Singapore’s own cultural landscape.

Art in Italy is deeply rooted in the pages of Art History, from the Mosaics of the Ostrogoths to the spatialist canvasses of Fontana. Artists Ariele Bacchetti, Nina Ćeranić, and Bruno Fantelli explore lyrical colors and refined textures through abstract compositions, with innate sensibility. The exhibition unveils visionary journeys of three emerging Italian Artists—that would not only generate new visual sensation out of the cultural entanglement, but also insatiably curious about the uncertain yet possible futures.
