A pattern repeats. A vibration travels. Something begins to return.
Elusive brings together two distinctive choreographic voices—Panzetti/Ticconi (Italy/Germany) with Carillon and Art Project BORA (South Korea) with O:ro—in new creations made with the dance artists of T.H.E Dance Company. Each work unfolds from a precise line of inquiry, revealing different ways the body can hold memory, sensation, and time.
Following their 2024 collaboration with T.H.E. Dance Company, the Italian duo Panzetti/Ticconi returns with CARILLON, a work inspired by the mechanics of the music box. Developed during a month‑long artistic residency in Singapore, this first original choreography together unfolds through meticulous patterns that gather force as cycles slip and falter—questioning what happens when reassurance begins to destabilise.
Elusive is presented by T.H.E Dance Company as part of cont·act Dance Festival in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The event is also included in the Asia-Europe Cultural Festival 2026 – Closing Curtain, organised by Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). The project was realized with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Singapore.
