Italian pianist Andrea Molteni will make his Singapore debut on 18 September 2026 with a recital at Victoria Concert Hall, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Singapore and the Fondo Goffredo Petrassi.
Recognised as one of the promising young talents of the Italian piano scene, Molteni will present a programme combining major works from the piano repertoire with compositions by Goffredo Petrassi, one of Italy’s leading twentieth-century composers.
The recital will open with three Sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti and Johannes Brahms’ Variations on an Original Theme, Op. 21 No. 1. The programme will also feature Petrassi’s Oh les beaux jours! and Toccata. After the interval, Molteni will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata Op. 110 and Franz Liszt’s La Sonnambula de Bellini – Grande Fantaisie de Concert, S.393/3.
