The Embassy of Italy in Singapore is pleased to promote a concert by the Simone Prattico Trio, featuring acclaimed Italian drummer and composer Simone Prattico.
Internationally recognised for his artistic career and distinctive musical approach, Prattico will lead audiences through a performance that combines contemporary jazz with Afro-funk influences and rich rhythmic textures inspired by Mediterranean and African-American musical traditions. Through a dynamic and sophisticated musical language, the trio offers an engaging musical experience that celebrates improvisation, artistic dialogue and the encounter between different cultural traditions.
The concert is presented as part of the Jazzing Around programme, an initiative dedicated to promoting international jazz and fostering cultural exchange through music.
The concert will take place at the Capitol Jazz Club on 17 and 18 July 2026, with two sets each evening at 9.00 pm and 10.30 pm.
