As DANSTUDIO marks its fifth anniversary, ELEMENT 2026: BEYOND FIVE celebrates a remarkable journey of artistic growth, meaningful connections, and a shared passion for contemporary dance. What began as a vision has grown into a thriving community where creativity, excellence, and collaboration continue to flourish.
This special production brings together an inspiring collective of artists from Singapore and beyond. We are honoured to welcome internationally acclaimed choreographer Roberto Altamura (Italy), alongside Daniel Navarro Lorenzo (Spain), our friends from Pointe & Music Dance Academy (Malaysia), students from the NAFA Diploma in Dance, Pei School of Dance, and the DANSTUDIO family.
Directed by Dan Kwoh, the programme features exciting new creations by Daniel Navarro Lorenzo, Dan Kwoh, and Sophie Lim, together with award-winning choreographies from DANSTUDIO’s 2026 competition season, selected repertoire from previous years, and performances by our Performance Training Programme dancers and 爱舞人.
The celebration continues with EDGE Dance Convention 2026, DANSTUDIO’s inaugural international contemporary dance convention.
Following the performance, dancers from Singapore and the region will gather for two inspiring days of masterclasses, repertoire, creative workshops, and artistic exchange led by distinguished artists from Italy, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore.
BEYOND FIVE is more than an anniversary—it is a celebration of every dancer, educator, choreographer, family member, and supporter who has been part of our journey, while looking forward to new collaborations, new opportunities, and the next generation of artists.
