The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) promotes the fourth edition of young researchers’ and Startuppers’ Awards for Italians abroad.
The awards, intended for Italian talents who successfully dedicate themselves to research and innovation in foreign countries, are divided into two categories:
The “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” is aimed at brilliant young Italian scientists who have made a significant contribution in the field of science and technology in conducting research activities abroad, promoting the scientific-technological collaboration relationships of the Italy with foreign institutions or with international organizations;
The “Innovation that speaks Italian” Award, on the other hand, is a recognition of the high innovative value of Technological Startups operating abroad, founded by Italian citizens.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 31, 2020.
The prizes, which will consist of a medal and a diploma from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be awarded in the autumn during the annual Conference of Scientific Attachés in service at the network of Italian Embassies in the world (indicative date to be confirmed is November 26, 2020).
