Singapore approves VTL for travelers coming from Italy

Starting from 19 October 2021, the Singapore government will suspend the quarantine obligation for travelers from Italy.

The measure, announced by the Minister of Transport, Mr. S. Iswaran, extends to Italy, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States of America the protocol of the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), until now reserved only for travelers from Germany and Brunei and announced – starting next November 15 – also for South Korea.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has announced that VTL travelers from these countries will be able to enter Singapore without quarantine and will only have to undergo a molecular test against Covid-19.

This measure also includes unvaccinated children under the age of 12, provided they are accompanied.
