Get ready for the 23rd Italian Film Festival in Singapore, taking place during the period 7 – 22 June 2025! This year’s festival promises a truly rich and varied lineup of contemporary Italian films, exploring everything from vibrant animation and compelling documentaries to powerful dramas and insightful social reflections.
A major highlight of this edition is a special tribute to the renowned director Paolo Sorrentino. Don’t miss screenings of two of his cinematic gems: The Great Beauty, an Oscar winner in 2014, and his latest creation, Parthenope.
In addition to Sorrentino’s work, the festival proudly presents seven of Italy’s most celebrated films from 2024. Among these are Ferzan Özpetek’s Diamanti, a profound exploration of the female experience honored with the 2024 David di Donatello, and Alessandro Tonda’s Il Nibbio, a thoughtful film blending history, current events, and human insight, which received the Nastro d’Argento for legality.
