On 4 September 2026 at 7:30 PM, Italian pianist and composer Giovanni Renzo will make his Asian debut at Bechstein Music World Singapore, in a concert held under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Singapore and in collaboration with Bechstein Music World Singapore.
The recital, “Compositions and Improvisation for Piano Solo,” presents a personal musical journey in which different musical languages meet, ranging from classical and contemporary music to jazz, minimalism, tango and film music.
Pianist, composer and author of music for film, theatre, dance and multimedia productions, Giovanni Renzo has developed a distinctive musical language rooted in the interplay between composition and improvisation. His artistic work includes several albums and interdisciplinary projects, including Atlas Coelestis, exploring the relationship between music and astronomy.
Since 2010, he has also been the protagonist of the Cosmic Concert, a project created in collaboration with Astronomers Without Borders that brings together music and images of the universe and is broadcast internationally.
The concert offers audiences in Singapore an opportunity to discover the creativity and musical research of an Italian artist with an extensive international career, through a programme that brings together tradition, improvisation and experimentation.
