The fifth edition of the International Week of Italian Cuisine scheduled for the period 23-29 November 2020, will take place in Singapore with various events both in attendance and online.
The initiative, supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aims to promote the quality of Italian cuisine and the products of our country that are part of a long tradition and continuous innovation, through the creation of recipes that have become synonymous of excellence and food quality all over the world.
The events will promote Italian restaurants and food and wine products; holding cooking classes and convivial initiatives dedicated to Italian excellence including white truffles and limoncello; the presentation of a booklet that collects the stories of 7 extraordinary chefs and their signature dishes, a round table on the future of meat with industry experts and entrepreneurs.
Under the coordination of the Embassy of Italy in Singapore and thanks to the precious collaboration of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Italian Academy of Cuisine, the APICS (Italian Cultural Center Singapore) and the IWG (Italian Women’s Group), the Italian culinary tradition will be valued throughout the whole week as one of the excellences of the Made in Italy.
