Two Italian Artists will participate in Singapore’s SCOPE#13 with a performance on March 20th

The two Italian artists Fabio Novembrini and Roberta Racis will be in Singapore from 17 to 26 March 2022. Invited by Dance Nucleus (local partner of the CRISOL project), they will weave experiences with choreographers, dancers, and musicians from various parts of the world. In addition to participating in the “ARTEFACT” creative residency, Novembrini and Racis will present the performance “Diorama” as part of the SCOPE#13 program.

According to the Italian Ambassador in Singapore, H.E. Mario Andrea Vattani, “Singapore is increasingly proving itself a center of international talent and innovation, also in the Arts. In the context of our cultural collaboration, we are happy to support the residency of two Italian artists in Singapore, where they will promote creative contaminations between international artists and choreographers”.

The Embassy of Italy supports the two Italian artists and invites everyone to attend the “Diorama” performance, with free admission, which will be held at Dance Nucleus (90 Goodman Road, Goodman Arts Center, Blk M # 02-53 Singapore, Singapore 439053), on Sunday, March 20th, 2022 at 4.00 pm. The duration of the event will be about an hour and thirty minutes. For more information: dancenucleus@gmail.com.

The SCOPE#13 program is carried out in collaboration with CRISOL, a project initiated in 2019 under the auspices of the Italian Ministry of Culture. CRISOL has already been developed in several phases and sees the support of various international partners (Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Armenia, India, China, Macao, Singapore, Korea). The 2022 Asian pathway takes place through residencies and presentations both in Singapore – from 16 to 27 March – and in Italy – Cagliari, Verbania, Florence, Bologna, from 1 to 15 September -.

ARTEFACT is a project created by Dance Nucleus with the aim of supporting independent artists working in dance and performance. On the sidelines, the SCOPE platform will be presented, which offers artists the opportunity to present their works and collect feedback and critical speeches on the projects.
