Application for Italian Tax Code

The tax code is essential if you need to carry out financial transactions in Italy, for properties and/or inheritance matters. The service is free of charge and is only for private individuals. Companies must apply for a tax code in Italy, at the relevant Revenue office of the “Agenzia delle Entrate”.

Foreign citizens residing in Singapore and Brunei can apply for Italian Tax Code at this Embassy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Foreigners who will relocate to Italy for study/work purposes, for more than 90 days, can apply for their Italian tax code at the Department in charge of the Police Headquarters (Questura) upon collection of their stay permit in the city where they will be residing. Foreigners who travel to Italy for study purposes and needs to stay for less than 90 days can request a tax code (codice fiscale) from any office of the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate). (Check on the map Here)

Required Documents:

– Form AA4/8 (download) duly filled in and signed;

– Copy of IC or passport;
