The award-winning saxophonist Francesco Cafiso will be on tour in South East Asia, accompanied by the 18 Years old American jazz pianist Esteban Castro. Despite their young age and their different personal history, these two artists are considered the future of the Jazz panorama.
They both collected several renowned recognitions and prizes: among others, Francesco Cafiso was appointed as the “Ambassador of Italian Jazz Music in the World” by Umbria Jazz Association and in 2014 in New York he was awarded with the “Grand Award of Merit” from the “American Society of the Italian Legions of Merit”.
The vent is organised by the embassy of Italy in collaboration with the New Age Productions and it is part of the Italian Festival 2023.
